What is a double chin removal?

Kybella (deoxycholic acid) is a USA FDA-approved lipolytic injection used for double chin reduction. Kybella works best for moderate to severe fat along with dietary and lifestyle changes.
What is lipolytic injection?
Lipolytic injections, also known as fat dissolving injections, are a non-surgical procedure to reduce or eliminate unwanted localized fat collection in the treatment area. How does it work?
These substances are produced by the body itself.

How is the injection lipolysis procedure performed?
Injection lipolysis is an in-office procedure done under complete aseptic conditions.
The area to be treated is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized using an alcohol swab.
The treated area is applied with local anesthesia to provide numbness at the injection sites.
Pockets of fat are palpated and encircled with a skin marking pencil.
5-7 units of the lipolytic solution are injected at each point.
A total of 2-3 ml of lipolytic solution is injected per sitting.
Any bleeding points are pressed firmly with sterile gauze to prevent bruising.
At the end of the session, the treated area is again cleaned and anti-bacterial cream applied.
Is the treatment painful?
The lipolytic injection is associated with a slight stinging and burning sensation, although it is very well tolerated by the majority of clients. For more sensitive people, a topical numbing cream can be applied for 30 minutes before the procedure.
How much time does the session take?
A lipolysis treatment session takes between 45-60 minutes
What should I expect during my recovery period?
There might be slight soreness and swelling for 2-3 days post-procedure. You may do icing to reduce the discomfort. Additionally, an analgesic may be advised by the doctor for usage on an SOS basis. However, no additional rest is required post-treatment.
How many sessions are required?
