Rosacea is an inflammatory disorder affecting predominantly the central face, rarely affecting patients <30 years of age. This condition has a tendency toward exaggerated flushing, with eventual superimposition of papules, pustules, and telangiectases. It may also lead to rhinophyma and ocular problems.
